The company Pocketpair, known for Craftopia and Palworld, has engaged in the development of a metroidvania with elements of the "bagel" Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse.
The announcement was accompanied by the release of the debut trailer, demonstrating the gameplay and key features of the game. Players are waiting for a unique combat system using the cursed hat.
It will allow you to control enemies and gain advantages in battle. You will have to fight with possessed enemies in procedurally generated dungeons, including ruins and gardens.
Obstacles and puzzles will meet on the way, it is also necessary to restore destroyed villages, rebuilding structures and growing crops in the fields — food and potions will help prepare for the next battle.
Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse supports a cooperative mode for up to 4 people, contains boss fights, useful artifacts that allow you to perform a double jump, and so on.
