Capcom has announced that the VR version of Resident Evil Village will become part of the PlayStation VR2 launch line and will be released simultaneously with the new headset as a free update for all owners of the standard or gold edition of the game.
The VR mode of Resident Evil Village will support the entire campaign and will fully utilize the capabilities of PlayStation VR2, including eye tracking, 3D audio and tactile feedback of PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers.
In addition, when playing in the headset, new gameplay elements will appear that enhance immersion, such as using double weapons in both hands, as well as controlling the reloading of firearms and swinging a knife through natural movements without pre-prescribed animations.
New screenshots:PlayStation VR2 will be sold at a price of 600 euros in Europe. The launch will take place on February 22, 2023.
