Rumor: the new Mafia will be active in Sicily — it will tell about Salieri

Nick Baker, insider and host of the Xbox Era podcast, shared his information about the new Mafia, which should be a prequel to the already released trilogy, during a fresh broadcast.

He said that Hangar 13's game would take place in Sicily at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. And gamers will be told the story of the family of Don Salieri, one of the key characters in the original Mafia and boss Tommy Angelo, the main character. Considering the game's supposed time frame and the fact that Ennio Salieri was born in 1876, it sounds generally logical.

In addition, Baker reports that the project will be more linear than the third part, in the spirit of the first two games in the series. One way or another, while all these are rumors, and they should be treated with skepticism.

Recall, earlier it was reported that the new "Mafia" is at an early stage of development, and the project is being created on Unreal Engine 5.
