Sony congratulates Activision on the powerful launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on PS5 and PS4 in the PS Store

The Call of Duty franchise is of paramount importance to Sony.

The company has been trying for several months to block a multibillion-dollar deal between Activision Blizzard and Microsoft in order not to lose access to the games in the series in the future.

In response, Microsoft guarantees the preservation of Call of Duty on PlayStation — according to Phil Spencer, they want to develop a line of shooters on all platforms, including Nintendo, by analogy with Minecraft.
