The Callisto Protocol has a dismemberment mode that allows you to "tear enemies to pieces"

The horror The Callisto Protocol came out far from in the best condition, but Striking Distance Studios continued to bring it with numerous patches and today released another one.

Update 5. 01 weighs from 13 to 15 GB, depending on the platform, and adds a mode called Dismemberment to the project, allowing players to "tear enemies to pieces and experience the thrill of instantly dismembering opponents."

Dismemberment mode should make The Callisto Protocol even more similar to its ideological mastermind - Dead Space - where dismemberment was one of the main features of the series.

At the same time, the developers warned that during the campaign with Dismemberment Mode enabled, players will not be able to unlock achievements or trophies.

After downloading the update, it also becomes possible to skip plot cutscenes. Nothing is reported about other fixes and improvements.

The Callisto Protocol has been available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC since December last year.
