Recently, Squanch Games announced that the release of High on Life will be moved from October to December.

As it turned out later, the team did this to avoid competing with God of War Ragnarok and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Creative and artistic director of High on Life Mikey Spano explained that "it's hot in October, it's very hot", so it will take a short delay for players to notice the first-person comedy shooter.

According to him, the release of High on Life at a time when everyone is discussing God of War or Call of Duty, will be a missed opportunity for Squanch Games.

However, postponed High on Life for a couple of months not only because of this. The second reason is the ability to bring the game to a certain state, how to polish it.

High on Life is released on December 13 on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The game will be available in the Xbox Game Pass service with release.
