The official board game based on Elden RING was announced

ELDEN RING will receive the official board game.

Steamforged Games, best known for creating tabletop adaptations of Resident Evil 2-3 and Dark Souls, announced a campaign on Kickstarter to fund a tabletop on the new role-playing action FromSoftware.

At the moment, there is little information about the project, but there is already a page that you can subscribe to to follow the updates. Fundraising will start shortly.

Adaptation is designed for one-four players and will offer battles without cubes, requiring players to think through the strategy and adapt their plans during each encounter with the enemy.

As in the original game, discovering the world through exploration is considered to be a key part of the experience in the table top, and vast regions, according to the press release, are designed to inspire players to a grandiose and diverse adventure.

The announcement also mentions iconic locations and familiar enemies with characters,  but the only one confirmed at the moment is the boss Godric Grafted.

The Elden RING board game will be the sixth partnership between Steamforged Games and Bandai Namco.

We are very happy to announce a new collaboration and look forward to the fans getting to know the ELDEN RING universe in the form of a board game, "the publishing house said.

The original ELDEN RING was released on consoles and PCs in February, becoming one of the best-selling games of 2022 with a result of more than 16.6 million copies as of August.

The project has also gained great success with critics and is now on the list of the 50 most rated video games of all time on Metacritic.
