CD Projekt RED has released a patch for the updated version of The Witcher 3

CD Projekt RED Studio has updated the reissue of The Witcher 3 to version 4.01. The developers have fixed the errors found and improved performance.

The full list of changes can be found on the official website. Basic:Fixed a bug where reflections in the screen space on the PC did not work, although they were enabled.

Added a speed mode for global lighting with ray tracing, available to players with compatible hardware on a PC.

Fixed a bug where consoles could create more saves than allowed, and this led to various problems with saving the game or resetting user settings.

Improved the quality of reflections in the screen space on current-generation consoles, as well as optimized global lighting with ray tracing to improve performance.

The remaster of The Witcher 3 was released on December 14, 2022 on modern consoles and PCs. Buyers of older versions can upgrade to the new ones for free.
