Modus Games has announced that the retro-style Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons bitmap will go on sale on July 27.
The release will take place on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on Steam. The Secret Base studio is engaged in development.
The action takes place in the 1990s. New York is in ruins after a nuclear war, survivors are fighting for survival, and the streets are flooded with rebels and bandits.
The city is overrun by gangs terrorizing residents and fighting for power, but young Billy and Jimmy Lee do not want to put up with this and decide to free it from criminals on their own.
The story tells about the youth of the brothers "Double Dragon".
You can play for the usual Billy and Jimmy by connecting Marian and Uncle Martin, or unlock nine additional characters, each with their own playing style and techniques. Double Dragon Gaiden:
