Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt RED will receive ray tracing reflections on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in the upcoming update 2.0.
Footage from the Cyberpunk 2077 menu, shown in the initial technical analysis of the Phantom Liberty expansion from Digital Foundry, confirmed that with the upcoming major patch in the game on current generation consoles, ray tracing mode will be include not only retrace shadows, but also reflections.

on the video settings tab in Cyberpunk 2077, a mention will appear that ray tracing mode offers photorealistic rendering of shadows and reflections at 30 frames per second with dynamic 4K resolution scaling.
Now the reflections in the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are simulated based on data in the screen space. Patch 2.0 will be released on September 26 along with the Phantom Liberty extension.
In addition to the new ray tracing option on consoles, the update will also make large-scale changes to artificial intelligence, progression and much more.
