Quantum Break will be removed from Xbox Game Pass temporarily - due to problems with the license

The other day it became known about the upcoming removal of Quantum Break from Game Pass. This raised questions, as Xbox Game Studios games must be added to the subscription permanently.

The XboxDynasty portal reached out to Microsoft for comment and found out the details. As it turns out, Quantum Break will be temporarily removed from the Game Pass catalog due to licensing issues, and the company is already working to get the game back on the service as soon as possible.

Apparently, Microsoft needed to renew some kind of agreement so that Quantum Break could continue to be distributed through Game Pass. The company owns the rights to the game, but it was developed by Remedy on their own Northlight Engine.
