Remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 may be released not only on PlayStation 5

The expected remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 may become a multiplatform, and not an exclusive for PlayStation 5, as previously reported.

An insider and Windows Central editor Jez Corden told about this in the latest issue of The Xbox Two podcast.

According to him, he is not sure whether the updated MGS3 will be a full PlayStation exclusive or not, since what he has heard from his sources suggests that the game may turn out to be multiplatform.

Corden believes that Sony could get something like marketing rights or temporary exclusivity, but eventually the game could be released on Xbox.

As for the new Castlevania, which is also rumored, Corden says that the information on it is much more vague and he does not know anything, but noted that it seems that at least some upcoming Konami releases will either be temporary exclusives, or with exclusive DLC or something else, or just have a deal for exclusive marketing, but over time they will move into the category of multiplatform.

Earlier it was reported that at the presentation of the PlayStatino Showcase, which is rumored to be held at the end of May, Konami games will be present and the announcement of the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 will take place.
