On April 27, a remake of the classic Japanese role-playing game LIVE A LIVE will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, Square Enix announced.
It appeared on the Nintendo Switch last summer, where it sold 500 thousand copies in the first month.
Today, the PlayStation Store and Steam will post a demo version of LIVE A LIVE — players will be able to transfer all the progress from it to the full game. Recall that the original LIVE
A LIVE was released on the Super Nintendo console in 1994 and has never been released outside Japan. In the domestic market, it has sold 205 thousand copies over its entire life cycle.
Nintendo Switch received an international remake in the HD-2D style, which was also used by Square Enix when creating Triangle Strategy and Octopath Traveler.
A multiplatform remake of Dragon Quest III is currently being prepared on the same engine.
