Kevin Conroy, best known to fans for voicing Batman, has died at the age of 66. Warner Bros. Discovery released a press release confirming that the actor had died after a short battle with cancer.
Conroy was Batman's most famous voice. He voiced the Dark Knight in the cult animated series of the 1990s and in many other animated series and films based on DC comics.
His work can also be heard in various video games, including the Batman: Arkham and Injustice series.
In 2019, Conroy played Bruce Wayne live on screen in the crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths" from The CW channel.
In total, during his career, the actor embodied the image of a superhero in almost 60 different animation projects, including 15 cartoons and 15 animated series, as well as in more than 20 video games.
Conroy's last performance as Batman took place in the fighting game MultiVersus.
