Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released in September. This was told by Bloomberg editor Jason Schreier.
The journalist mentioned the new Sony exclusive as one of the possible factors in the transfer of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to February 2024.
In addition, Schreier still believes that the postponement of the "Suicide Squad" for nine months will not lead to a significant alteration of the game.
According to him, the delay is related to polishing and has nothing to do with the February gameplay demonstration, which everyone criticized.
"To be clear: 'polishing' can mean a lot of different things, ranging from performance optimization to balance tuning, bug fixes and server stability.
People are surprised that it takes developers nine extra months to polish a game, but actually it's OK these days."
As for Spider-Man 2, actor Tony Todd, who voiced Venom in the game, also let slip earlier about the September release date. The official release of the project is announced for the fall.
