Mortal Kombat 1 Announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Switch - First Trailer and Release Date

Warner Bros. Publishing House Games and the NetherRealm Studios team have officially announced the next part of the Mortal Kombat fighting game series.

Rumors and leaks have been confirmed — the game will be a relaunch of the franchise and will be released under the name "Mortal Kombat 1".

The release will take place on September 19 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The debut cinematic trailer:Pre-orders for Mortal Kombat 1 will begin to be accepted tomorrow, May 19.

All pre-orders will receive Shang Tsung as a bonus playable character, and PlayStation and Xbox players will additionally be given access to beta testing, which will take place in August.
