Recently, the third season in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 started, which brought a lot of changes to online games.

They also touched on the DMZ mode, but the fan community remained dissatisfied with the update due to the appearance of pay-to-win elements.

Mechanics with active slots have been added to the mode, allowing you to save operatives with their equipment.

The player has three slots available by default, but if desired, you can purchase a bundle for 1200 in-game currency, which gives an additional slot.

The bundle also includes an operative with an enlarged backpack and a drawing for a machine gun, which, in case of death, is unlocked in just 15 minutes, although you usually have to wait at least an hour or even more for the insured weapon to be reopened.

Dataminers also found out that bundles will soon be on sale, which will give much more advantages in the DMZ.

For example, for buying a set with a Gousta skin from the original Modern Warfare, you can get a bulletproof vest with two plates — and you can get it every time the slot becomes empty.

The players immediately started complaining on social networks, noting that such a move destroys the very meaning of the mode, since the squads will play DMZ only for the sake of destroying other squads.

"I don't care about the armor, but the drone is too much. Imagine that three people with this skin are hunting on spawn using three unmanned aerial vehicles.

No, that's not cool." "Some of the spawns are pretty close, and hell, you can jump to every spawn if the rushing team has enough knowledge/vehicle.

And for some reason, there are definitely a lot of people who only hunt squads. They will not perform tasks, they will JUST hunt in squads."

The developers have not yet responded to the complaints.
