The comic game about killing Sonic has become a sudden hit on Steam

The visual novel The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, which SEGA released for free on Steam in honor of April 1, turned out to be very popular.

The SMM manager of the franchise, Katie Hrzanowski, who also served as the executive producer of the game, said that the number of downloads of The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog reached seven figures in less than a week since its release.

She also noted that now "Killing Sonic the Hedgehog" ranks 61st in the list of the highest-rated Steam games ever released on the platform. The project received 98% positive reviews.
