The game director of the next trilogy of The Witcher was Sebastian Kalemba, who spoke about his appointment on social networks. His experience in CD Projekt RED is almost eight years.
Prior to that, Kalemba was engaged in character animation in the third "The Witcher", and then became the lead developer of plot additions.
At the time of the creation of Cyberpunk 2077, Kalemba was promoted to animation director, and now he has grown to head the development of the new Witcher saga.
On Twitter, Kalemba notes that he is "proud to be a part of CD Projekt RED and to work with such a talented and enthusiastic team."
"Since I joined the studio, I believe that nothing is impossible, and we are here to raise the bar, tell emotional stories and create worlds."
The first part of the new Witcher trilogy is not expected until 2025. After that CD Projekt RED is going to release two more games within six years.
All of them will run on Unreal Engine 5.
