New details of the nextgen version of The Witcher 3

Following the announcement of the release date of the next generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt RED told a little more about what the upcoming update will bring with it.

From yesterday's announcement, it became known that the update will be released on December 14 and will be free for the current owners of any edition of the game.

Now the developers have clarified some details.

In particular, it is said that the reissue of The Witcher 3 will offer "dozens" of visual and technical improvements compared to the original on X-ray platforms, including higher performance, faster loading times and ray tracing effects.

In addition, the updated version will include additional content based on the Netflix series, including alternative characters, as well as weapons and armor for Geralt.

A bonus to all this will be the integration of a number of mods created by the community.

Along with the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, the new patch will also receive versions of the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, in which numerous changes and improvements will be made, and free content inspired by the series adaptation from Netflix will be added.
