Sonic Frontiers will offer a choice of 4K or 60 FPS on PlayStation 5, but not both options together

The upcoming Sonic Frontiers platformer will offer either a 4K or 60 FPS resolution on the PlayStation 5, but not both.

This was announced by a representative of SEGA at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, the words of which are quoted by one of the Twitter users.

He asked the developers at the Sonic Frontiers stand about the supported resolution and frame rate of the game on different platforms.

The response was that the targets were:PS5 — 2160p and 30fps, or 1080p and 60fpsPS4 — 1080p and 30fpsSwitch — 720p and 30fpsSonic Frontiers version information was not provided for Xbox consoles, but it should be expected that they will be comparable to the versions for PS4 and PS5.

The game will be released on November 8.
