The description of the trailer and the release date of Mortal Kombat 12

The debut trailer for Mortal Kombat 12 will be published approximately next week.

Information about this, along with a description of the announcing video and the release date of the fighting game, appeared on Reddit.

According to the leak, the trailer starts with footage of Liu Kang and Kitana's battle against Shang Tsung, in which Shang knocks out Kitana, and Liu performs a fatality and helps her up.

After that, numerous portals open, from which "dozens of different Scorpions" come out and attack the couple.

Then the release date of the game is revealed on the screen - October 10, 2023 - and Shinnok appears from the void of space — a powerful fallen god who was the final boss and the main antagonist of Mortal Kombat X. He will be available as a bonus fighter for pre-order along with a set of "Dark Disciples" skins, depicted by three darkened female silhouettes.

The full-fledged gameplay of Mortal Kombat 12, if you believe the rumor, will be presented at the end of the month as part of an agreement with Sony.

It will probably be shown at the PlayStation Showcase 2023 presentation — according to insider Jeff Grubb, it will take place before the Summer Game Fest, which starts on June 8.

The other day, NetherRealm Studios released a video in honor of the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat, at the end of which a teaser was shown, presumably, the next part of the series.
