The PS Plus Extra library has been replenished with another game for PS4, while the addition took place without any announcement or mention from Sony.
Users who have an extended PS Plus subscription can now download Anodyne at no additional cost.
Anodyne is a fabulous action—adventure game with a top view and an old-school visual style of the 16-bit era, inspired by the classic parts of The Legend of Zelda.
In it, the players play the role of Yang, who suddenly wakes up in the mysterious world of his subconscious, full of enemies and dangers.
The independent studio Analgesic Productions, consisting of only two people, was responsible for the creation of the project. Anodyne was originally released on iOS and PC back in 2013.
Five years later, the game appeared on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and in 2019 it reached the Nintendo Switch.
