Red Dead Redemption is no longer available on PS5 and PS4 - the game was removed from the cloud service

The action-adventure Red Dead Redemption from Rockstar Games has left the PlayStation streaming platform after six years of being in the service.

The original PlayStation 3 version of RDR was added to PS Now back in 2016, and after the recent merger of the subscription with PlayStation Plus, it became part of the extended PS Plus Premium plan.

The removal of the game from the PS Plus Premium library was not sudden, since the company had previously warned about such plans, but now it means that it is no longer possible to play the iconic Rockstar western on PS4 and PS5.

On current Sony consoles, the game worked exclusively "on the cloud", unlike Xbox One and Xbox Series X |S, whose owners can fully play Red Dead Redemption for backward compatibility.

On older Microsoft consoles, the project, among other things, supports native 4K resolution.
