Silent Hill 2 remake is in active development, Konami is preparing remasters of the first Metal Gear Solid

According to VGC, Konami is unlikely to announce a silent hill reboot at the Tokyo Game Show 2022.

Sources of the publication say that in September, most likely, the publisher will present some kind of "small game".

According to VGC sources, of the new Silent Hill projects, the Silent Hill 2 remake from the Polish studio Bloober Team is the closest to readiness.

Journalists heard that now it is "in active development" (presumably, the updated horror will be a temporary exclusive of the PlayStation 5).

In Japan, meanwhile, they continue to create a reboot of Silent Hill, and annapurna Interactive is engaged in its game in the series of horrors from Konami - it will be episodic.

Konami is also preparing a new Castlevania, and its production has advanced further than the development of the new Silent Hill, according to VGC sources.

Insider Dusk Golem adds that we are talking about remasters Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.

Players will supposedly be able to buy them in one set or separately from each other. Buyers of the bundle will be presented with classic Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 with MSX.

According to Dusk Golem, remasters will be released on all current consoles and PCs.
