Last week, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog announced that the rare edition of The Last of Us Part I Firefly Edition will return to the market in limited quantities, but speculators have re-entered the business, instantly buying the entire batch.
Almost immediately, the eBay marketplace was flooded with a lot of ads for the resale of a special edition of the game, the price of which varies from 350 to 600 dollars, while the official cost of the product was 99 dollars.
Users noted that the Firefly Edition had been available on the PlayStation Direct website for two minutes before it was fully purchased by merchants.
The extended edition includes various in-game bonuses, a limited edition stilbook and The Last of Us: American Dreams #1–4 comics with a new cover.
Sony is asked to print a new large print run and expand the geography of sales in Europe and Asia.
