Modder removed the Erd tree from Elden Ring to improve performance

A user with the nickname K4richard decided to remove from the Elden Ring tree Erd using mod to increase the frame rate in the game.

The enthusiast released a mod and shared the find with other fans of the game. K4richard reports that when approaching the tree, he experienced performance issues on his PC.

As a result, the author "cut down" the tree together with the particles surrounding Erd, which also influenced the frame rate.

The result did not take long: the enthusiast launched the Elden Ring with 30 FPS on a weak "iron", and the frame rate in its assembly with the GeForce GT 1030 rose by 16 frames per second.

A fan of the game even joked that the modification literally reduces the requirements for Elden Ring.

However, work on the mod is not yet completed, but those who want can freely download the beta version of the project.
