The game designer and president of FromSoftware studio is known for developing a number of games that have left a big mark on the industry, including Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

Last year he released Elden Ring. Miyazaki became only the second video game developer to ever be included in the Time 100 list.

Before that, 16 years ago, the publication awarded such an honor to Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda and many other cult Nintendo series.

The Time 100 annually celebrates influential people from all spheres of life, including politics, sports and the arts.

This year, the current US President Joe Biden, entrepreneur Elon Musk and the winner of the World Cup Lionel Messi were also included in it.

FromSoftware is currently working on Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and is preparing a major story expansion Shadow of the Erdtree for Elden Ring.
