Interest in Need for Speed Unbound has plummeted - there are fewer players on Steam than in the last part

The developers of Need for Speed Unbound have applied a fresh approach to the classic formula of the franchise, presenting a new artistic style and a full-fledged street racing experience.

The new part of the series was met by critics better than the previous Need for Speed from Ghost Games, but the players accepted the project with much less enthusiasm.

The peak online Need for Speed Unbound on Steam at the release was only 14 thousand, and over time the number of players decreased even more and continues to fall.

A few months later, the peak daily online Need for Speed Unbound dropped to less than 1 thousand simultaneous players and in recent weeks has not risen above 500-700 at all.

Over the past 24 hours, the maximum figure has grown slightly and amounted to 988 people, but it is still very small.

With all this, the previous Need for Speed Heat is now even more popular on Steam than Need for Speed Unbound: about 3 times more people play it every day.

For example, the current daily peak is 2,905 simultaneous players. One of the reasons for the decrease in the number of players may be the lack of updates.

The game clearly lacks new content, which affects the decrease in interest.

In addition, Need for Speed Unbound is more expensive than the old part, although it has been sold on Steam since launch, whereas Need for Speed Heat appeared in the Valve store after the release.
