Blogger SightlessKombat, being blind from birth, managed to cope with God of War Ragnarök. The accessibility settings introduced by Sony Santa Monica studio helped the player to do this.

It is worth noting that this is not the first game that SightlessKombat has managed to pass.

The blogger told Sky News that in most cases he needed outside help, for example, in God of War 2018, SightlessKombat played with a consultant.

The developers were interested in the videos released by the player, and they asked for advice.

SightlessKombat suggested automating some mechanics to reduce the load, adding the ability to reassign buttons and enter settings that change the camera angle, increase contrast, as well as highlight symbols and hints.

God of War Ragnarök was released on November 9 on PS4 and PS5, and a month later the developers received The Games Awards for the best accessibility settings.
