The Overwatch 2 multiplayer shooter from Blizzard Entertainment has managed to attract 25 million players in just 10 days since its launch.
The developers boasted about the success of the project on the official Twitter account of the franchise.
Overwatch 2 was released in early access on October 4 and breathed new life into the established formula of the original game, including a 5-on-5 PvP format, a new progression system based on a combat pass, the introduction of seasonal content, three new heroes and, of course, the transition to a shareware distribution model.
Despite the impressive user base, the launch of Overwatch 2 was extremely unsuccessful and was overshadowed by numerous interruptions in work.
