At The Game Awards 2022, CD Projekt RED studio showed the second teaser trailer for the Phantom Liberty add-on for Cyberpunk 2077, revealing the appearance of a completely new character performed by Idris Elba.
The star of "Luther" played in the expansion of Solomon Reed, a secret agent of the New United States of America, who will team up with Vi "to cope with an impossible secret mission and survive."
The developers describe Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty as a real "spy thriller", the events of which will unfold in a new area of the city of Night City.
Other plot details have not yet been revealed, but if you believe Elba, Phantom Liberty will be distinguished by "the deepest narrative in the history of games."
"The deepest narrative in the history of games. Enjoy it," Idris Elba commented on the trailer of the add-on on Twitter with these words.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is coming out in 2023 only for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The extension will be the only one and will not appear on consoles of the last generation.
