Following the new trailer, Ninja Theory studio showed at the extended presentation of Xbox Games Showcase Extended the second diary of developers Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, dedicated to the use of Motion Capture technology in the game.
In the video, the authors paid detailed attention to the motion capture process, and also stated that during the production of the sequel, they "significantly expanded their scope", moving from working in a regular meeting room to a full-fledged platform with a large number of cameras.
Ninja Theory noted that improved work with Motion Capture made it possible to more accurately capture the behavior of actors "down to every millimeter", thereby providing more refined and realistic movements.
The diary also revealed the presence in the game of an episode with a boat and several characters on board at the same time, and in order to reproduce such a complex scene, the team built a special platform that is responsible for transmitting the slopes and vibrations of the waves.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is coming out in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
