War Thunder Israel Independence Day

On May 14th 1948, Israel declared its independence — and then managed to defend it thanks to its armed forces.

This holiday is celebrated on 5 Iyar in the Hebrew calendar, which in 2023 corresponds to April 25-26, from sunset till sunset.

On this day, people decorate their houses and cars with Israeli flags and have picnics, the government gives out awards for contributions to Israeli culture, and some military bases open up to visitors.
