Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will receive a two-year development plan to cover the lack of a new full-fledged game series in 2023.
It is possible that the 2024 project that Treyarch is developing will also have an extended support period.
According to an insider of The Ghost Of Hope, Activision has approved a budget for the two-year lifecycle of the next Call of Duty from Treyarch, betting on the good financial performance of Modern Warfare II and the infrastructure of Call of Duty 2.
