According to the creator of the original Grand Theft Auto Mike Diley, Rockstar Games accused him of copyright infringement.
One of the founders of DMA Design (now Rockstar North), claims that the company "again switched to the mode of a complete bastard, issuing warnings of copyright infringement on any video about GTA that they can find, including two videos about the prototype."
Daily believes that Rockstar Games is trying to block all materials about the creation of the game, including any old development footage.
In videos that are currently not available on YouTube, Daily demonstrated one of the early builds of GTA, which was created in the mid-1990s, when DMA Designs was best known for the franchise Lemmings.
What else video about the development of GTA blocked Rockstar, unclear. Other GTA developers have not yet made similar complaints.
