Yesterday, the Turn 10 Studios team hosted a new Forza Monthly stream dedicated primarily to the Forza Motorsport racing simulator for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

As part of the broadcast, the authors took an in-depth look at the career mode called Builders Cup, and also revealed several important details of the race.

Firstly, it turned out that the entire main progression of the game will be tied to online, which means that players will always need to have an active Internet connection to complete the campaign.

The studio clarified that some game modes, like Free Play (where you can choose any car / track and participate in a free race), will still remain available for offline play, but career advancement is possible only when connected to the network.

The developers also talked about plans to support the project, noting that the already confirmed DLC for the Deluxe Edition and Premium Edition editions, including Car Pass, VIP membership and bonus car packages, are the only planned paid content.

There will be no loot boxes, micro-DLC or anything like that in the game.

In addition, after the launch, Turn 10 is going to regularly provide players with new free cars and much more — by analogy with Forza Horizon 5.

Forza Motorsport is released on October 10 immediately in the Xbox Game Pass.
