Well-known insider Tom Henderson talked to the testers of the long-suffering Skull and Bones and came to the conclusion that even after all the transfers, it will be very difficult for developers to captivate players.

The interlocutors note that the game "is nothing special" - naval battles have already been encountered in many other projects, including Assassin's Creed by Ubisoft itself, and there is nothing to surprise the audience with Skull and Bones against their background.

More than 10 testers shared their impressions with Henderson, and only two of them were satisfied with what they saw.

Yves Guillemot stated that the postponement from March 9 would allow the project to "evolve", but the testers were skeptical. Many believe that the game should have been canceled long ago.

“Uninstalled the test build about 20 minutes after installation. The game seems incredibly outdated and I don't believe major issues will be fixed," said one tester.

Henderson's sources say the earliest it could be released is the second half of 2023. True, the development is still far from complete.

According to users, Skull and Bones could become more diverse due to fights between pirates on land, but they are not and are not planned.

In response to requests from testers, the developers stated that they were "too immersed in the current game to be distracted and seriously take on ground battles."

Skull and Bones has also been criticized for their lack of story content. The game seems boring to testers.

Recall that Ubisoft does not have the right to cancel Skull and Bones due to certain obligations to the Singapore government. The development of the game started in 2013.

Skull and Bones will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S.
