Full release of the console Xbox-exclusive Grounded will take place on September 27 — the game spent two years in early access

Studio Obsidian announced the date of the full release of the survival simulator Grounded. The game ends its two-year stay in early access on September 27 this year.

The survivor also received the final update for the early access version, which introduced a modified version of the weapon and armor upgrade system.

Closer to the full release, an additional feature called Homestretch will be available — it is currently blocked. Grounded was originally due to be released in May, but was delayed.

Grounded was released in early access in July 2020.

Now it is available in the library of the subscription service Game Pass on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. In February of this year, the studio announced that the audience of the survivor exceeded 10 million people.
