On November 10, a new update 2308. 221109-1900 for Xbox consoles became available to participants of the Xbox pre-evaluation program in the Alpha Skip-Ahead circle.
The update fixed some problems, including sudden disconnections of Discord voice chat and the inability to launch games after playing some titles, and also improved the correctness of the display of local languages.
Windows Central editor Jez Corden also noticed that after the update, the Xbox dashboard received a fairly noticeable increase in speed.
In particular, the transition from the main home screen to applications or the store began to happen much faster than before, almost instantly.
Interestingly, this week the Xbox application for Windows 10 / 11 also received a fresh update, after which the program also began to work noticeably faster and smoother.
The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, even spoke about this on Twitter, praised the team for listening to player feedback and significantly improving the performance of the application.
