Many journalists from major publications reported that they would not be able to publish materials on Monday, because Square Enix did not send them keys to a fantasy role-playing action.
In particular, VGC, Windows Central, Waypoint (VICE) and RPG Site did not receive the game.
The latest edition has been specializing in RPGs for many years and keeps track of even the most niche Japanese releases, but Square Enix will not be able to write a review on the new IP in time.
The keys were received by journalists from a small circle, and exclusively console ones. The PC version of Square Enix decided not to show anyone at all until the release.
Given the mixed reviews for the demo, players feel that the publisher is afraid of Forspoken's low ratings. The network also thinks that there are problems with the PC version of the project.
Recall that Forspoken was created by the Luminous Productions team, formed from the developers of Final Fantasy XV.
It was originally codenamed Project Athia, and game designer Hajime Tabata, who left Square Enix after the cancellation of the second wave of DLC for Final Fantasy XV, said that the publisher aims to create a new franchise that can stand on a par with Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts in importance. and Dragon Quest.
