Blizzard will hold a temporary "Battle for Olympus" event in Overwatch 2

The developers of Overwatch 2 have released a trailer for the "Battle for Olympus", reminding that the temporary event will take place in a competitive shooter from January 5.

The event is made in the ancient Greek theme and is associated with the corresponding mythology.

Within two weeks, Overwatch 2 fans will be able to choose one of the seven heroes and take part in the "every man for himself" battle.

You can choose from the Vulture Queen, Reinhardt, Turboswin, Farah, Widow, Lucio or Ramattra. The abilities of the listed characters will be changed for the sake of additional features.

For example, the Fatal Widow will turn into a gorgon Medusa and will be able to turn opponents into stone, and the Vulture Queen will receive the powers of the thunderer Zeus.

Based on the results of the "Battle for Olympus", Blizzard will calculate the total number of kills on a particular hero and award the winner with a statue on the Ilios map.

In addition, players will receive some "divine rewards".
