The Greek retailer Game Explorers claims that the adventure strategy will go on sale on May 26, 2023 — two weeks after the premiere of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The date falls on Friday — it is on Fridays that Nintendo releases its games simultaneously around the world. There is no official information yet.
Recall that Pikmin 4 was announced with a short teaser in September 2022. A short video showed one of the locations and a dormant Bulborb, promising to release the game in 2023.
The development of Pikmin 4 was first announced back in the days of Wii U. Then it was reported that the game was "almost ready", but it took seven years to officially present it to the public.
During this time, a reissue of Pikmin 3 managed to be released on the Nintendo Switch.
