Shooter on "Star Wars" from Respawn is created on Unreal Engine 5

The upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is not the only game Respawn is currently playing. The studio is also working on two more Star Wars projects, one of which is a first-person shooter.

The project is managed by the game director of Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond Peter Hirschman, but nothing else has been heard about him until recently.

Now there is information about the engine used.

In correspondence with one Twitter user, leading designer of the AI combat system Mellisa Janovich confirmed that the game is created on Unreal Engine 5.

Respawn previously used the Epic Games engine for Star War Jedi: Fallen Order and makes Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on it. Otherwise, nothing is known about the nameless shooter yet.

Now the studio is recruiting  specialists to develop the game.
