A 14-minute gameplay demo of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, announced last year, created by Purple Lamp Studios, is a continuation of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom.
According to the plot of the new game based on the popular animated series, the mysterious fortune teller Cassandra fulfills the wishes of SpongeBob and his friend Patrick, as a result of which they accidentally open portals to the strange Worlds of Dreams, where knights, cowboys, pirates and prehistoric snails live.
During the adventure, players will have to visit and explore seven different worlds, as well as try on more than 30 cosmic shapes and use them to save the universe.
In addition, the game will feature a massive fan service, including a meeting with all residents of Bikini Bottom, the voices of the actors from the animated series, as well as an in-game soundtrack with 101 songs from the series, including "Sweet Victory".
The game must be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
