The new Street Fighter 6 fighting game attracted more than 1 million players over the first weekend

Following the results of the first weekend, the number of Street Fighter 6 players exceeded the mark of 1 million people, Capcom announced.

The fighting game launched on June 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Usually, a Japanese company shares information about the sales of its games, but in the case of the sixth part of Street Fighter, it used the phrase "players".

The exact starting edition is not disclosed, but Capcom, apparently, is very pleased. The achievement was marked with festive illustrations.

At the moment, it is known that Street Fighter 6 was perfectly accepted on PC on Steam.

There, the Japanese project demonstrated the best starting sales among all paid fighting games, beating the results of Mortal Kombat 11.

After the release of Street Fighter 6, the total sales of all Street Fighter series games combined exceeded the mark of 50 million copies.
