Ukrainian studio Frogwares published a trailer of the previously announced remake of the detective adventure Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened and launched a campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds necessary for the completion of the project.
The developers need 70 thousand euros to finance the remaining stages of the game production. In a few hours, more than 43 thousand have been collected.
The project is a rethink of the original Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened 2007 and is created entirely from scratch on Unreal Engine with modern graphics and animations, new gameplay mechanics, numerous side tasks and an extended storyline.
The events of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will unfold in 1884 and open the curtain on how Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, then still simple roommates, became a world-famous duo dedicated to solving crimes.
