Despite the fact that the proceedings between Apple and Epic Games have ended, the creators of Fortnite are not going to give up. The judge ruled that the dominance of the Cupertino company in the application market does not violate US antitrust laws, but 34 states and the District of Columbia believe otherwise.

Epic Games filed an appeal and was supported by many of the country's prosecutors . They argue that Apple's behavior has hurt and is hurting mobile developers and millions of users. The company continues to monopolize the market by charging 15-30% commissions for using the built-in App Store payment system, not allowing alternative payment solutions on the iPhone, stifling competition and generating ultra-competitive profits in the smartphone industry, which has an annual turnover of about consumer advocacy groups, civil liberties organizations and Microsoft.
