8 minutes of gameplay Foamstars - arena shooter from Square Enix

Japanese IGN shared 8 minutes of gameplay of the recently announced multiplayer arena shooter Filmstars from Square Enix.

The company brought the game to the Summer Game Fest PlayDays, where journalists were able to get acquainted with the new title.

The video shows the Star multiplayer mode, in which each team gets seven lives.

After they are used up, one of the players with the best results in the match becomes a "star", receiving increased health and damage, as well as faster recovery of abilities.

But if the "star" player is killed, the game will end, and the victory will go to the other team.

A feature of Foamaster is the shooting of foam cannons, with which you can water opponents and change the landscape, creating soap mountains at the level with the ability to quickly navigate them on surfboards.

The game is being created for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The release date is not yet called.
