9 minutes of new footage of the Star Citizen story campaign on the game engine

A video leaked online showing 9 minutes of brand new footage from the independent Star Citizen story campaign called Squadron 42.

According to the description under the video, all the scenes are drawn directly on the engine and are not a pre-render, and the footage itself was created by the developers for internal analysis and is based on last year's build of the game.

In fact, the video shows what visual condition Squadron 42 may be in at the moment, although the quality of the leak leaves much to be desired.

The creators of Star Citizen call Squadron 42 an "epic adventure" capable of surpassing games such as The Last of Us, God of War and Red Dead Redemption II in terms of staging, character development and the ability to make gamers empathize with the heroes.

Despite the fact that it may take several more years before the release, Cloud Imperium Games studio is already planning sequels.

Last month it became known that the fees for the development of Star Citizen and Squadron 42 exceeded $ 500 million.
